We’re on the lookout for a motivated and detail oriented operator to work with high quality materials and modern machinery in a friendly and supportive team environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Independently set up and operate brake press machines
- Bend and form sheet and plate metal with precision
- Work with a variety of materials, including Colorbond steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Read and interpret drawings and job specifications
- Follow safe work practices and quality standards at all times
- Use sound metalworking techniques including cutting, forming, bending, and basic machining
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience operating brake press machines
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
- Solid manual handling skills and an understanding of safe work practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player
