Greenhouse Wonderglas GC

Overview

Greenhouse growers often believe that it is easier to grow moss on top of a fibreglass greenhouse than plants inside it! “Fibre-show” has plagued the perceptions of fibreglass for years. Zammit Roofing’s revolutionary Wonderglas GC however, is set to change how the world sees fibreglass.

Wonderglas GC features a unique gel coating which prevents fibre-show and maintains high levels of light transmission for many years.

Webglas GC

Overview

Webglas GC (GC = gel coated surface) is proving its worth in buildings where steel and other roofing or wall cladding materials deteriorate or corrode at an unacceptable rate. The sheet weight is 3660 grams per square metre and is reinforced with a heavy gauge woven glass mat which provides continuous strength and protection in every direction. The overall strength is such that wire safety mesh is not required. This is a particularly important benefit in aggressive and corrosive environments that can quickly destroy metal.

Where corrosion resistance is vital, complete buildings may be clad and roofed with “Webglas GC” which can be 100% opaque, or translucent to transmit natural light. For extreme environments, where high levels of acids or alkalines may occur, “Webglas GC+” which incorporates vinyl ester resins, will provide additional protection. What really sets Webglas apart from traditional building materials is its combination of strength, resistance to a wide range of chemicals and low surface erosion. The warranty covers surface erosion for 20 years.

The special resin technology used in the UV resistant surface coating is the same as that used for Zammit Roofing’s premium grade “Wonderglas GC”, now very widely used in major projects around Australia. “Webglas GC” therefore provides low maintenance roofing and cladding guaranteed for a specific lifetime.

“Webglas GC” polyester sheeting is reinforced with heavy gauge woven matting that acts a a built in safety mesh. “Webglas GC” fully complies, without restriction, to the requirements of Class 2 to Class 9 buildings of the Building Code of Australia.

ClearSlide Roofing System

Overview

Faster, Easier, Installation with ClearSlide unique profile fibreglass sheet strip-clip system. The patented ClearSlide fixing clips provide many advantages over normal installation procedures, and also allows the combination of metal roll form decking and fibreglass skylighting over long lengths. No longer are two very different materials screwed together in the hope that they will interact, without water ingress, or cause buckling (ocean waving) of the fibreglass. The ClearSlide roof is watertight and aesthetically pleasing.

Dual Roofing System

Overview

In today’s environment of conservation, the reduction of energy consumption, the importance of environmentally friendly, cost effective products is ever increasingly recognised.

The savings and benefits in supplying natural daylight in the workplace and in recreational facilities can be maximised at a fraction of the cost of dual glazing with Zammit Roofing’s Dual Roof System. This system provides good, evenly diffused natural light, eliminates condensation, and reduces transmitted heat.

The Zammit Roofing Dual Roof System utilises the fundamental principles of double glazing in an innovative manner suited to the Australian climate; simplicity and ease of installation set it apart from complicated and costly double glazed skylights originally designed for overseas countries with cooler climates. Dual Roof is not unique in theory, in practice it provides long term cost savings with valuable benefits both to users and the environment.

Sports stadiums and multi-purpose halls where condensation quickly forms on the skylight panels due to internal warm moist air meeting with the cold skylight surface, have been quick to embrace the Zammit Roofing Dual Roof Anti Condensation Skylighting System to solve the problem.

Cool-lite GC Sheeting

Overview

Cool-lite GC provides diffused light, whilst transmitting only 23.5% total heat transmission! This helps provide a comfortable environment, and reduces energy costs associated with air conditioning and artificial lighting. Cool-lite GC also features the Zammit Roofing’s Gel Coat technology.

Factories, supermarkets, warehouses, shopping centres, schools, gymnasiums and sports stadiums are prime examples of building where heat reduction sheeting is beneficial. In fact, in most single level buildings “Cool-lite GC” provides natural, diffused light that can replace, or supplement energy hungry electric illumination. If existing fibreglass sheeting is replaced with “Cool-lite GC”, transmitted temperatures and glare are reduced and air-conditioning efficiency is improved. All current and most superseded roofing profiles are available and there are no width restrictions. The special resins and colouring agents used by Zammit Roofing are the best available, resulting in a very durable product. Both discolouration and scratch resistance are excellent and “Cool-lite GC” retains it great appearance with minimal maintenance.
